The Dress That Breaks Every Rule: Sheer Mesh Deconstructed Fringe Mini
- by Glen Dawson

Some dresses are made to blend in. This is not one of them.
The Sheer Mesh Mock-Neck Deconstructed Multi-Ribbon Draped Fringe Mini Dress is a rare fashion piece — one that sits at the intersection of structure and chaos, of precision and spontaneity. It is the kind of dress that stops a room and asks nothing of you except the confidence to wear it.
The Construction
At its foundation is a close-fitting sheer mesh base in a polyester-cotton blend. Over that, dozens of narrow fabric ribbons are wrapped, crossed, draped, and layered across the bodice in a construction that reads as improvised but is entirely deliberate. The high mock-neck collar serves as a clean anchor point — from which the ribbon work flows down the torso in a bandage-adjacent pattern before dissolving into a cascading fringe skirt where multiple dangling fabric strips create an irregular, asymmetric mini hem that moves dramatically with every step.
A 100% polyester lining beneath the sheer mesh preserves modesty without compromising the visual effect.
The Colourways
Available in three considered neutrals — Brown, Black, and Grey — each with its own character.
- Brown is the warmest, richest version. Worn as styled in the campaign — completely clean, no accessories — it reads as deeply editorial and luxurious.
- Black is the most dramatic, best suited to evening wear and fashion-forward occasions. Pair with black heels and silver or white gold jewellery.
- Grey is the most wearable of the three — the fashion-forward choice that still operates in the real world, especially with silver or chrome accessories.
How to Style It
The most important styling rule for this dress: keep everything else completely minimal. It does not share attention.
- Wear with barely-there strappy heeled sandals in nude, tan, or gold
- Add a single fine gold chain necklace as the only addition
- A strapless or adhesive bra is recommended due to the sheer mesh bodice and neckline
- No bag, or the most minimal clutch possible
- Hair up or slicked back — let the dress lead

A Note on Sizing
The sheer mesh foundation is close-fitting — size up if you are between sizes. This garment follows Asian sizing standards, which typically run 1–2 sizes smaller than AU/UK/US. Available in S, M, and L only.
This dress is not for every occasion. But for the right one, there is nothing else like it.
